Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Specially-designed cushions, pillows, and side-lying postures are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the energy meridians run through the body and allow for the flow of Qi, or energy. Energy imbalances can occur as a result of trauma or emotional stress. Qi stagnations can occur, often causing physical pain and chronic symptoms. There are points along the meridians that, when stimulated through acupuncture of acupressure, encourage movement of Qi and reduction of stagnations.
In this 30-minute treatment, we will stimulate the Bladder Meridian, which runs from the skull, down the back, and to the feet. You will be fully clothed and lie face down on the table, enjoying the rhythmic movements of this acupressure massage. This treatment will encourage movement of Qi stagnations, release muscular tension in the neck, back, hips, and legs, and promote a healthy body-mind connection.

In this 30-minute treatment, you will be fully clothed and lie on the table face up, while you close your eyes and breathe into your personal intention for the session. I will gently enter your energy field with my hands and also use tuning forks, crystals, and essential oils to help clear stagnations and harmonize Qi.
